Behavioral Health Clinician

What You Get To Do:

  • Collaborate with other medical professionals in a fast-paced pediatric environment
  • Acts as a contributing member of the care team, assisting pediatricians in recognizing, treating, and managing behavioral health and biopsychosocial issues
  • Provide brief evidence-based interventions and use outcome-based models to track patient improvement
  • Provide same-day warm hand-offs as much as possible and be available for curbside consultation with pediatricians
  • Connect patients and families with resources in the community
  • Act as a leader in continuing a successful integrated care program
  • Participate in regular interdisciplinary group case consultations, collaborate with community partner organizations, and coordinate with external specialty care providers
  • Utilize knowledge of the most common concerns treated in pediatric primary care (e.g., depression, anxiety, ADHD, life stressors, sleep concerns, developmental delays, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team and patients and families through effective written and verbal professional communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible in dealing with interruptions, a busy schedule, and a fast-paced work environment
  • Two years experience in an integrated pediatric health setting (preferred but not required)
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records including the ability to document services in a clear, concise, and timely manner (concurrent documentation preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Up to date on all routine vaccinations
  • Spanish language speaker (preferred)

Education: 

  • Masters (required) or Doctorate

Licenses or Certifications:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) in the State of Oregon.
  • A clinician working towards licensure under a board-approved supervisory contract, with the ability to obtain licensure within one to two years such as Clinical Social Work Associate (CSWA). Compensation for clinical supervision is offered to eligible candidates.

Schedule:

  • Flexibility with work schedule 0.5 to 1.0 FTE
  • No weekends or on-call

Certified Medical Assistant

Our Certified Medical Assistants assist the physicians by preparing the patient for their visit by taking vital information and performing other tasks to ensure our patients are receiving appropriate care. This is a fast-paced and rewarding position for a Certified Medical Assistant. Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends as needed. We offer a competitive salary based on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • One to two years of medical assisting experience.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program: unexpired documentation of passage of AAMA Certified Medical Assistant, AMT Registered Medical Assistant, NHA Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, or NCCT National Certified Medical Assistant – Certification/Recertification Examination.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Knowledge of NextGen preferred.
  • Ability to work with children and their families.

Registered Nurse (RN) / Pediatric Telephone Advice Nurse

Description: We are looking for a compassionate listener and eager problem solver to join our Pediatric Phone Advice Nurse team. This position will identify the nature and urgency of patient healthcare needs and determine the appropriate action. Medical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all laboratory testing personnel adhere to the regulations for laboratory personnel per Federal Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA).
  • Responsible for the technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory.
  • Verification of the test procedures performed and the establishment of the laboratory’s test performance characteristics, including the precision and accuracy of each test and test system.
  • Ensures their employees follow industry standard safety regulations for handling and disposing of test samples.

Job Duties:

  • Provides medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information, products, and services by establishing specimen preparation procedures; developing and implementing analytical procedures; evaluating laboratory information; consulting with pathologist; reporting results according to protocols mandated by CLIA regulations and Oregon Health Authority.
  • Maintains medical laboratory equipment performance by establishing quality standards; developing operations, quality, and troubleshooting procedures; ensuring staff compliance; certifying instrument performance; arranging equipment replaced, service, and repair.
  • Maintains medical laboratory supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting order supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Maintains quality results by participating in the CLIA quality assurance program.
  • Maintains medical laboratory staff by orienting, training.
  • Resolves problems by consulting with laboratory director, physicians, nurses, and other health care professionals.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
